Instant Elevator Music

We all know how boring it gets when we have to wait for a program to load or a download to finish. Playing some music is a good distraction, but the program might finish loading before opening a player and selecting a track. Instant Elevator Music will play audio files when an application is loading. If a loading screen keeps you waiting, music will start playing automatically. Just like in an elevator.

The application is freeware and its setup kit is only 2 Mb large. You can install it immediately on any computer, running any popular Windows version. There are no additional codecs to be installed, so you can run the application straight away.

Apart from the tabbed settings window, there is no interface to interact with. You can set up the application to play music for certain programs under the first tab. By clicking a series of check boxes, you can select programs with a progress bar, like web browsers, Firefox downloads and others. You can also select programs with splash screens like MS Office, MS Visual Studio, Adobe Photoshop (CS5) or Eclipse.

Instant Elevator Music will play a default audio track, but you can add your own music under the second navigation tab. A function may be enabled, under the same tab, which will mute the application if you are already listening to music. It is also possible to set a volume level, add programs to an ignore list and more.
